Youth Alliance GM members challenge you to “See Youth Work Differently”
The See Youth Work Differently campaign challenges you to rethink ‘youth work’ and recognise the vital role our sector plays in supporting young people to thrive.
Our campaign stories showcase young people who have found confidence, purpose and opportunity through youth provision across the region – and celebrates the youth work that helped make it possible.
Together, Aubree, Ellie, Carter and Jake’s stories show that youth work is far more than activities or clubs – it is about relationships, trust, opportunity and belief. And Naomi, Beth, Joe and Jill, demonstrate the importance of youth work as a career.
So we can help more people see youth work differently.

Alex Fairweather, Chair of Youth Alliance for GMYN, said:
“Youth work changes lives in ways that aren’t always visible at first glance. This campaign work invites people to look again and see youth work differently, as a vital part of supporting young people to grow, belong and succeed.”
The Youth Alliance GM brings together organisations committed to strengthening youth work and championing opportunities for young people across the region.
If your organisation believes in the power of youth work, now is the time to get involved.
